Quest Waste Management Unveil 30,000 Litre Articulated ADR Tanker
QUEST WASTE MANAGEMENT UNVEIL THEIR NEW 30,000-LITRE ARTICULATED ADR TANKER. SPECIFICALLY DESIGNED FOR CARRYING AND TRANSPORTING HAZARDOUS AND DANGEROUS LIQUIDS, THE NEW TANKER WILL BE TAKING TO THE ROAD FOLLOWING ITS UNVEILING AT THE ROAD TRANSPORT EXPO EARLIER THIS MONTH.
Manufactured by Yorkshire based RTN Clayton Vallely, the tank is made from 316 stainless steel with a 5mm shell and is suitable for Waste ADR products classified under tank material compatibility classes 3, 6, 8, and 9, complying with tank code L4AH.
Quest’s consistent investment in their fleet allows them to remain adaptable to their customers’ needs. This latest addition, the ADR Vacuum Tanker, is designed for transporting a diverse array of substances such as acids, alkalis and flammable products.
In line with Quest”s commitment to workplace safety, the tanker is equipped with a fully enclosed double handrail and is designed for ground-level operation, ensuring the highest level of operator safety.
Clive Leadbetter, Quest Managing Director said that the company invested in the new tanker due to a rise in demand for such business activities. “We are pleased to have taken delivery of this specialised ADR tanker as our bulk logistics fleet continues to grow. The new ADR tanker will enable us to diversify our product range and handle a wide variety of substances, including substances including acids, alkalis and flammable products.”
Along with a 30,000 litre capacity, the tanker is operational up to 44 tonnes G.V.W. and also includes: ADR regulations for classes 3,6,8,9, 316 stainless steel, pyrex sight glass, 3 x baffles, full hydraulic opening rear door and full width platform complete with pneumatic handrails.
